One of my earliest memories of being terrified was of the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz! I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only one! To be honest, she still creeps me out a bit. I guess it's a throwback to that childhood reaction. But I do know of one person who had NO fear of her, that was Glinda, the good witch! So this Halloween, I'm donning the crown and wand, and going to spread my own magic dust as Glinda in this sparkling offering from Ivalde! 
I need to gush! Neferia Abel of Ivalde is simply amazing! I have the good fortune to call her my best friend in Second Life®, and that friendship extends to real life as well. She is very humble and would never think of herself extraordinary, even though she is and consistently proves it! I love when talent and hard work are recognized, so I was beaming when Nef was asked to conduct an interview with a real life television network!

I have a closet full of dresses from Victoria McMillian. I love her recreations of famous real-life gowns. I am determined to review each and every one of them, but let's begin with the first! 
I plan to wear this dress, an authentic recreation of a dress from the 1920s, on August 26th - the day the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution was ratified - as a tribute to the women who were the first to vote here in the USA. I would encourage all of us to find some small way to remember the pressures and prejudices they fought to overcome. To borrow a cliché, we have come a long way, baby! Thank you enlightened ladies and gents of yesteryear! 
I pulled Bibbi out of inventory the other night when I went dancing. No doubt about it, this dress is sizzling! 
I am so excited! Retrology, that faboo sim with vintage galore, is concluding their weeklong celebration this weekend with a party to end all parties! Happy Anniversary Kets and Crew! I adore your sim, it truly is an awesome destination for shopping, fun and don't get me started on all the photo ops!
